February 19, 1997 HELP FILE FOR PACIFIST .315 First public release. 1. Edit .ini file and adjust to your system! The Mount directory is the hard drive directory PCST will read from. I suggest you list the mount as c:\ if you state c:\atari\programs\, PCST will not be able to see the root directory. 2. Image maker program will work from a dos shell in windows 95 if you list commands in the shell, and it will run faster in full window mode, but will function if not. 3. PacifiST needs to run in full window mode within Windows 95. When the debug screen appears (yellow text with debug settings) type g to start the GEM mode. Remember to have your image file properly listed in the .ini file. If you want to pile a bunch of ST programs on an 720k IBM formatted disk, that can be made into an image file "disk.st" . TOS 1.0 is able to read double density 720k PC disks. 4. To enter the debug mode from GEM mode hit the ` key, also located on the ~ key. Sometimes TAB ` will need to be pressed. This key is usually in the upper left corner of the keyboard. 5. To Re-enter GEM mode type g again This is an unofficial help file by: DAHstra@Juno.com Please contact the author and give him your support! frederic.gidouin@hol.fr
